Dr. Han graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in
Chemical Engineering in 1988  (UC College of Engineering invented the suspension bridge in the late 19th century).  He achieved both his DDS and Master of Science degree from Ohio State University in 1992 and 2000, respectively.  Dr. Han’s master’s degree in Advanced Dental Materials had its primary focus on implant science.  When the program covered the topic of tissue engineering, he learned about the potential benefits of PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma).
Since 2000, he has incorporated the PRP procedure and has used it to improve and develop the bone grafting technique.  This highly successful advance has helped many dentists and their patients, and is still being taught to many doctors.

He participated in a oral implantology residency training program at the Miami Valley Hospital. Currently, Dr. Han is directing his own 1-year residency program at the David Han Implant Institute in the metro Atlanta area. His private practice is limited to oral implantology
