About the Director

He served as a clinical professor at Korea University and as a guest professor at Won Kwang University, where he lectured and conducted research projects. He has consulted and assisted many implant companies, including Osstem (Hiossen), Neo, and Dio to improve their products' quality and functionality.  He also trained Osstem's R and D team from 2006-2007.

Dr. Han graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1988 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.  He achieved both his DDS and Masters of Science degree at the Ohio State University in 1992 and 2000, respectively.
Dr. Han’s master's degree is in Advanced Dental Materials with the primary focus being on implant science. While working on tissue engineering in this program, he learned of the potential benefits of PRP (platelet-rich plasma).  He has incorporated this PRP procedure into certain treatments and with it, has improved and developed the bone grafting technique since 2000. This advanced technique has helped many dentists and their patients. It is still being taught with great success to many doctors.

He also participated in a hospital-based oral implantology residency training program at the Miami Valley Hospital.
Dr. Han is currently directing a 1-year residency program at the David Han Implant Institute in the metro Atlanta area. His private practice is limited to oral implantology.
He is a loving husband to his wife Yeonyee and a dedicated father to five children.  His hobbies include short-track speed skating, golf, and competition shooting. He is a second-degree black belt in taekwondo.  He also enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.
